Tone Stojko (1947) is one of the most important Slovenian photographers of the last half century. He can boast, among others, portraits of Alfred Hitchcock, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, concert footage of Tina Turner, etc. In addition to reportage, documentary and portrait photography, Stojko has always been committed to the theatre. His theatre photography oeuvre comprises more than 310,000 photographs and is characterised by his distinctive, artistic approach.

The exhibition Theatre Photography accompanies the publication of the e-book of the same name and presents productions from 1969–2016.

The exhibition is on view in the Hall on the first floor of the Slovenian Theatre Institute from 2 October to 27 November 2024, weekdays between 9 am and 4 pm. Admission free!
