The painting Visoki mesec (High Moon) is divided into three vertical stripes. Each one of the stripe is designed by its own principle. Together they are united by yellowish, greenish and earthly shades of colour. The expressive strength of the autor's gesture, cromatic harmony of contrasting colours and translucent layers of colour are main characteristics of paintings made by Jože Marinč. The artist searches for inspiration in nature and in himself. In the process of painting, the movement of the whole body is present due to the use of broad spatulas. The energy that is needed to create a painting is at the same time imprinted on the painting as a visible seal of identity and the essence of the author. (Google Arts, 17.06.2020)
