The painting is made of intertwined light and dark surfaces in green and brown shades of colour. We realise, after reading the title Svetlobe in sence pod krošnjami (Light and Shadows beneath the Treetops) that the artist attempted to create the trembling of light and shadow which can be seen when we lay under the tree and look up to the treetop. Surprisingly, the motif of the painting is not abstract it is a depiction of an actual visual sensation. (Google Arts, 17.06.2020)
