The double whole-length portrait of the twins dating from the early fifties, shows Didek' s moving away from the style of his early works. The painting Dvojčici (Twins) is no longer painted in the impasto technique, but made by thin layers of colour. The artist achieved distinct plasticity and monumentality of the two female subjects.
